Linda B. Muir

Linda Muir was born in Auburn, California, attended the University of California at Berkeley and received a B.A. degree in history from California State University Sacramento. Linda and her late husband, Don, formed a political consulting and lobbying firm whose clients included Senator George Moscone, Congressman George Miller, Mayor Joe Alioto, Mayor Tom Bradley, Vice-President Walter Mondale and Governor Michael Dukakis. Currently a contract lobbyist working in Sacramento, her clients include Magna Entertainment, the largest owner of thoroughbred race tracks in the United States, and A.T.&T. Wireless A member of the Executive Board of the Institute of Governmental Advocates in Sacramento, Linda is also a board member of San Francisco's Fort Mason Foundation.
