Dennis McQuaid
Dennis graduated from St. Patrick's College (Seminary) in 1961 and attended St. Patrick's Seminary until 1962. He entered the Air Force and while on active duty, he went to law school at USF. He left active duty in 1971 and has been in private practice since January of 1972. He is currently a partner in McQuaid Bedford & Van Zandt in San Francisco where he emphasizes real estate transactions, financing, land use and environmental law.
After he left active duty with the Air Force in 1971, he remained in the Air Force Reserve and retired as a Colonel in 1992. He was twice a candidate for Congress, twice a California delegate to the Republican National Convention, was elected to the City Council of Novato, and was Mayor. He has retired from active politics. He served two years as President of the St. Joseph's-St. Patrick's Alumni Association and is currently on the Board. He has previously been on the Board and Chairman of the Lincoln Club of Northern California, on the Board of the World Trade Club, on the Board of the St. Thomas More Society and a member of the Archdiocesan Finance Council of the Archdiocese of San Francisco. He is currently on the Board and President of The Family Club in San Francisco. He has been a member of the Sacramento Seminar since 1987.
