Sherri Ferris

Sherri Ferris is the President and CEO of Protocol Professionals, Inc. an international relations consulting firm, specializing in protocol and etiquette training, special event production and liaison with the diplomatic corps. Their mission is based upon the belief that protocol is no longer the sole domain of diplomats but a vital component of all successful business relationships. Through training and consulting services, the company promotes and enhances their clients' presence in the global marketplace.

Before founding the company, Sherri Ferris was appointed Deputy Chief of Protocol for the City and County of San Francisco from 1992 to 1997, receiving dignitaries and planning civic, cultural and high level events for Mayor Frank Jordan. During her tenure she received the "German-American Friendship Award" from the Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany and the "Award of Merit" from the Korean-American Association. She was the campaign manager for the Barbara Kaufman for Supervisor campaign. She currently serves as Honorary Chairman of the White House Business Advisory Council.

Sherri completed graduate school in the field of counseling psychology at California State University Fullerton. For ten years, she served as the Lead VIP Hostess for the Walt Disney Company, greeting and coordinating the visits of royalty, film stars and heads-of-state.

Ms. Ferris is a contributing author to three books including "Selling for Dummies" and the Stanford University "Hoover Digest." She has been featured in many U.S. and international publications including the Wall Street Journal Online, Nob Hill Gazette, Chicago Sun-Times, Contra Costa Times and Louisville Courier Journal. She has made frequent media appearances on such stations as KQED, KTVU, WABC New York "The War on America" and KSFO San Francisco.
